Experts talked about how many vegetables and potatoes were produced in 2021, and made a forecast for 2022.
In 2021, the harvested area of open ground vegetables amounted to 8.0 thousand hectares (or 100% of the plan), from which, with an average yield of 381 centners per hectare, 305 thousand tons were harvested, including:
- Cabbage (any kind) – 88.7 thousand tons (average yield 556 q/ha);
- Table carrots – 98.7 thousand tons (average yield 528 q/ha);
- Table beets – 76.3 thousand tons (average yield 437 q/ha);
- Turnip onions – 2.0 thousand tons (average yield 197 centners / ha);
- Zucchini – 0.9 thousand tons (average yield 272 c/ha);
- Potatoes – 363.1 thousand tons (average yield 293 q/ha);
- Other vegetables – 38.4 thousand tons (average yield 161 centners per hectare).
In 2022, the forecast for sowing vegetables in open ground is planned on an area of 8.2 thousand hectares, with an average yield of 410 centners per hectare, the gross harvest will be 336.0 thousand tons (or + 10% in 2021). The main leading urban formations for the production of open field vegetables:
- Dmitrovsky city – 149.9 thousand tons;
- g.o. Kolomna (Lakes) – 60.3 thousand tons;
- city of Serpukhov – 16.1 thousand tons;
- g.o. Stupino – 8.8 thousand tons;
- g.o. Lukhovitsy – 6.9 thousand tons.
The main leading agricultural organizations for the production of open field vegetables:
- CJSC “Kulikovo” – 35.0 thousand tons;
- JSC “Agrofirma Bunyatino” -32.0 thousand tons;
- Mosagrofood-D LLC – 25.0 thousand tons;
- JSC “Ozyory” -17.5 thousand tons;
