One of the leading canning enterprises in Kabardino-Balkaria has started harvesting and processing cucumbers. According to operational data, the first 850 thousand conditional cans of canned cucumbers rolled off the assembly line of the plant.
On average in the republic, canned cucumbers annually account for 17-20% of all canned fruits and vegetables produced in Kabardino-Balkaria. In 2021, KBR canning factories produced 52.6 million conventional cans of canned cucumbers, exceeding the figure for 2020 by more than 40%.
As a rule, canning enterprises process agricultural raw materials grown on their own plantations, which guarantees high quality products.
Also, the enterprises of the canning industry of the KBR continue processing green peas.
