The parties noted the importance of exchanging experience and realizing scientific potential in possible joint projects.
Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan received Vice Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Alexei Gordeev with a delegation. According to the press service of the Armenian government, the Russian delegation included Deputy Minister of Agriculture Maxim Uvaydov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Alexei Bezprozvannykh, head of the Roskachestvo federal agency Maxim Protasov.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister for Industry and Agro-Industrial Complex of the Eurasian Economic Commission Artak Kamalyan, as well as the Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin.
Issues of cooperation in winemaking and the development of organic agriculture were discussed.
The parties noted the importance of cooperation in agriculture and industry, as well as the exchange of experience and the implementation of scientific potential in possible cooperation projects.
Recall that from January to April 2022, trade between Russia and Armenia increased by 30% and exceeded $890 million.
