On July 6, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan discussed the readiness of the processing enterprises of the republic for the season of processing fruits and vegetables, including apricots.
The discussion was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan Emin Shaikhgasanov, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Dagestan Rashid Murzaev, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan, the regional branch of Rosselkhozbank JSC, Dagestan Glass Tara LLC, as well as heads of a number of fruit processing enterprises and vegetables.
During the event, various issues related to the activities of enterprises for the processing of fruits and vegetables were discussed. They also spoke about the measures of state support being implemented in this area.
Representatives of Rosselkhozbank JSC spoke about the instruments available to the bank for credit and financial support for enterprises in the food and processing industry.
The head of Dagsteklotara LLC called on processing enterprises to cooperate, noting that the enterprise is ready to supply the necessary glass containers on order.
At present, the apricot harvest season continues in the republic. In this regard, the head of the Makhachkala LLC “Irib” noted that he had already begun to accept raw materials. Other representatives of processing enterprises also announced their intention to start processing fruits.
