Agricultural organizations and farms of the Tersky, Maysky, Urvansky, Leskensky, Prokhladnensky, Chegemsky districts have started cleaning. They have already harvested the first 1.5 thousand tons of fruits, mostly apples. Gardeners note that this year the harvest of early varieties of pome crops is better than last year.
Summer varieties are not subject to long-term storage, so the fruits are sent straight from the orchards to retail outlets. Fragrant apples and pears from Kabardino-Balkaria can be seen in local markets, as well as in neighboring regions.
