Yevgeny Zolotarev is worried that he will not be able to extend the land lease due to changes in legislation. He currently has four hectares of land that he leases from the state, but it looks like he won’t be able to extend the lease for more than one hectare.
“The land lease is ending. That year my first act ended. I went to renew, they did not renew me. They said that more than one hectare is not allowed. This is four hectares from me. And this year, in August, the second act on the land ends, and, as I understand it, it will not be extended for me either, since the legislation has changed, ”said Yevgeny Zolotarev.

If only a hectare remains, workers will have to be fired, there will be no deliveries of vegetables directly from the garden to supermarkets, and the vegetable grower will not be able to fulfill his contractual obligations with the SPK.

The entrepreneur plans to grow vegetables all year round, and the first crop will be harvested in the new greenhouse in August.
