The Dutch onion variety gave a big harvest on the Pridnestrovian land, Pridnestrovian agronomist Vasily Grecu said on August 12 on the air of the TSV TV channel.
The Mallory onion from Holland gave a good harvest this year. Onion harvesting begins with the fact that the harvester picks up vegetables from the ground and leaves them on the surface so that the onion dries out in this form and the peel hardens.
“This year there was dry hot weather, in comparison, last year we treated more for diseases, this year we did not. The yield and mass of onions is greater,” Grecu said.

To get a high yield, onions had to be watered two or three times a week non-stop, the agronomist said.
There was a lot of harvest, it will last until next year. This bow will be sold on the domestic market.
Recall that in Pridnestrovie there is a state program to ensure the food security of the republic. This program supports local farmers, encourages them to develop their farms with soft loans and the state program for the restoration of land reclamation.
