Agricultural enterprises of Bashkiria in 2022 purchased 94 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers – 17% more than a year earlier, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan. This contributed, among other things, to the record harvest of cereals and legumes.
In 2022, Bashkortostan farmers harvested a record harvest of 5 million tons of grain crops. If a year ago the farms of the region purchased 80 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers in the active substance, then this year it is already 94 thousand tons. Thus, the growth was almost 17%.
- Bashkortostan farmers have managed to harvest a record harvest of grain and leguminous crops not only due to good weather conditions, but also due to the increased use of mineral fertilizers, – said Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Belarus – Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. – In order for high yields to become a traditional phenomenon, it is necessary to further increase the use of fertilizers.
Recall that the purchase of mineral fertilizers is subsidized from the regional budget. In 2022, more than 300 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes.
For the effective use of fertilizers, Rostselmash, a manufacturer of agricultural machinery, recommends using the yield mapping system and Agrotronic RSM.
The yield mapping system is the basis of precision farming. It is installed on grain and forage harvesters, is indispensable for agrochemical analysis of soils and serves as the basis for creating maps of differentiated fertilizer application.
The yield map is the main source of information about the effectiveness of the applied soil cultivation technology. In the execution of Rostselmash, the system is called the RCM Yield Map.
“Currently, new, intensive technologies of cultivation of agricultural crops involve the widespread use of mineral fertilizers. In order to make them in optimal doses, observing the deadlines, and also not to lose in quality, the RCM Yield Map system is needed,” commented Rostselmash.
The yield map is a necessity that allows you to get the maximum economic return from the resource invested in the field. Based on the long-term practical experience of many farms where the system of differentiated fertilization is used, it can be seen that it allows you to save fertilizers, as well as increase yields and significantly reduce environmental damage.
“The RSM Yield Map is one of the many Rostselmash systems available on combines. All systems are based on the agro-management platform of RSM Agrotronic, which is the core of Rostselmash digital services,” the company says.
RSM Agrotronic is a special hardware and software complex. The data on the state of the equipment and the cleaning process obtained with its help are available on the web platform or in a special mobile application for any smartphone. It monitors and interprets more than a hundred different indicators of the operation of equipment, the condition of which is monitored remotely.
When installing the RCM Agrotronic platform, another service is also available for free, which is directly related to security and accounting for working hours. We are talking about the machine operator identification system by face – RSM Face ID. As the name implies, the service recognizes the user’s face, allowing him to identify and, depending on the status of this person, allow or prohibit him from using the equipment.
According to Rostselmash, the goal of all services is to promote business efficiency through reducing losses, saving time and resources.
It is also important that Rostselmash digital services seriously simplify the lives of not only the heads of enterprises, but also the machine operators themselves, significantly reducing their workload.
