In Novosibirsk, prepared the largest Olivier salad in the world. Its weight was more than 4 tons, and 840 kg of carrots and 1,510 kg of potatoes from the Altai Territory were cut into the dish.
As the mayor of Novosibirsk Anatoly Lokot said in his Telegram channel, 85 chefs prepared the main New Year’s dish of the country. The result was 4,154 kg of lettuce, and a world record was set.
For the preparation of Olivier salad, they took products that were produced in different regions of the country. So, potatoes and carrots were grown in the Altai Territory, cucumbers and peas – in the Kuban, sausage and mayonnaise were made in Novosibirsk.
The giant salad took more than 900 kg of sausage, 680 kg of green peas, 840 kg of carrots, 1,510 kg of potatoes, 400 kg of pickled cucumbers, 8.5 thousand eggs and 5 thousand servings of mayonnaise.
After fixing the record, the visitors of the shopping center ate the salad.
