A Kyrgyz-Korean business forum was held in Seoul on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The Kyrgyz delegation made a presentation on investment opportunities and tourism potential of the republic.
Ambassador Aida Ismailova noted the great potential of the Kyrgyz-Korean cooperation in trade, economic, investment and other areas. In particular, digitalization, agriculture, textile and mining, energy, transport, green economy, construction, education and tourism are designated. Ismailova expressed interest in attracting innovative experience and offered to cooperate more actively in this area.
There were also presentations on the digital development strategy of Kyrgyzstan, the investment climate and the country’s opportunities.
As a result of the forum, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Tourism Support Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic OJSC and the leading tour operator of Korea, Hana Tour, and a council of Korean companies was created.
