Businessmen own similar (and very profitable) enterprises in the south of Russia.
In the coming years, a new large greenhouse complex will appear in the Kemerovo region. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
As specified in the press service, the construction of the complex will cost seven billion rubles. After reaching the design capacity, the enterprise will be able to produce about 20,000 tons of vegetable products per year. The investor of the project, according to the Ministry of Agriculture, will be the company “Kuban greenhouses”.
According to the Kontur.Focus service, JSC Kuban Greenhouses was established in 2016, the company is registered in Krasnodar. The organization’s website states that it specializes in investing in agricultural enterprises. At the end of 2021, the company’s revenue amounted to 116 million rubles, net profit – 83.6 million.
The general director and shareholder of the company with a share of 33.34% is Pavel Apetyan. As of May 2021, Stepan Tsaturyan and Vartan Vartanov owned 33.33% of the shares in the Kuban Greenhouses. All three also own several other companies, mainly in the Krasnodar Territory.
JSC “Kubanskiye Teplitsi” is the sole shareholder of the Krasnodar JSC “Teplichny Agrokombinat” and OJSC “Teplichny Kombinat” Progress “registered in Timashevsk (Krasnodar Territory). These vegetable growing enterprises in 2021 showed revenue of 856.7 and 780.8 million rubles and net profit of 211.9 and 78.1 million, respectively.
In addition, Kuban Teplitsam owns Scherbinovsky Greenhouse Plant LLC in the Krasnodar Territory and Altaisky Greenhouse Plant LLC in the Altai Territory. Judging by the information from Kontur.Fokus, these enterprises were not active in 2021, as they reported zero revenue and losses of 1.1 and 1.8 million rubles, respectively.
We add, according to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the construction of a new greenhouse complex in Kuzbass “Kuban greenhouses” will begin in 2022, and will be completed in 2026. The construction site has not yet been disclosed.
