August 19 in the science city of Michurinsk on the territory of the Federal Scientific Center. I.V. Michurin will host the All-Russian charity event “Apples for Children”.
About 100 children left without parental care, pupils of the Centers for Family Support and Assistance to Children and boarding schools of the Tambov region will take part in the action.
For girls and boys, a tour of the gardens of the Federal Scientific Center named after I.V. Michurin. Children will be told about different varieties of apples, features of caring for fruit trees, and will be treated to fruits. After the tour, the children, together with the garden workers, will take part in the harvest of apples. All harvested fruits will be taken home.
