Dagestan has sufficient stocks of vegetables and fruits, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Dagestan, Battal Battalov, said in his speech at a meeting of the Operational Headquarters led by Sergei Melikov.
Thus, the region has the necessary stocks of cabbage, potatoes, table beets, carrots, onions, apples, rice. Taking into account supplies from other regions, there are stocks of pasta, buckwheat, flour and sugar.
According to Battalov, the main enterprises for the production of bread, for the processing of milk and meat declare the possibility of increasing output by 1.5-2 times if necessary.
