Not only small and medium-sized enterprises, but also self-employed and citizens leading personal subsidiary plots will be able to count on subsidies.
The decree was signed by Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin. In the Omsk region, work on import substitution and the development of greenhouse complexes is already underway. So the region is increasing the pace of supply of fresh local vegetables. Lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes, about 60 tons of products are harvested every week. And this is only one of the enterprises.
Anastasia Kuznetsova has been working as an agronomist at the plant for more than 10 years. The main secret of the juiciness of tomatoes, says the expert, is the pollination of flowers by bumblebees. For them, special houses filled with cotton wool are installed in the greenhouse. There are six such for almost 500 individuals. But cucumbers do not need the help of insects, they are self-pollinating. By the way, vegetables in greenhouses are grown not in the ground, but in special cubes made of mineral wool.
“Each cube, each plant is supplied with food, food is supplied automatically through such a dropper at a specially set interval,” the chief agronomist showed.
Works in greenhouses and a system of artificial lighting. It gives the vegetables much-needed sunlight during the winter months. Top dressing is also automatically fed, which acts as a vitamin complex. Agronomists are engaged in planting and harvesting. They take care of cucumbers and tomatoes every day: the shoots have to be cut and twisted. If there are too many of them, the plant will bear less fruit. But lettuce lines at the enterprise have been fully automated for more than 10 years.
“All plant growth systems, starting with heating, lighting, ventilation, microclimate, everything works automatically. Lettuce is planted on the line and moves within 20 days, we have a finished product in 20 days,” said Alexander Maslov, director of the plant.
Work at the plant remains well-coordinated even during the period of sanctions pressure. Imported Polish fertilizers were replaced with domestic, Bui ones. In terms of quality, they are not inferior to competitors.
“In the conditions of, so to speak, the pressure of sanctions, we are completely restructuring. Of course, our organization, our production is ready to completely relocate and completely switch to domestic products. We are fully prepared to provide the region with our products, 100%,” promised Konstantin Gavrik, General Director of Druzino-Agro LLC.
Now agronomists are expanding the range: they are trying to grow microgreens in their greenhouses. In the restaurant business, it is in high demand.
