60 thousand tons of vegetables are planned to be harvested by Tula farmers, one of the first to start harvesting an early harvest in the farms of the Dubensky district.
“Today we have 95 hectares of fields. The first field was sown five years ago, and today we have built our own granary, we are going to expand,” says farmer Magomed Nurmagomedov.
According to him, Dubno farmers have no problems with sales either. The first crop is harvested here in early July, and the last in October. Vegetables grown on Dubenskaya soil today can be found on the shelves not only in the Tula region, but also far beyond its borders.
According to Irina Grigorieva, head of the department of crop production, animal husbandry and processing industry of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Tula region, zucchini, cabbage, and potatoes beat last year’s records. Our farmers are expecting a record vegetable harvest this year.
