Dynamics of prices for vegetables and fruits in Kazakhstan In annual terms, prices in the region increased by 21.2%. But inbusiness journalists.kz conduct their raids, record a decrease and an increase in food prices.According to the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, over the past 22 weeks since the beginning of the year, prices for socially significant food products (NWPT, 19 items) in Aktobe have increased by 16.2%. Higher rates of price increases in Uralsk and Aktau (+16.9%). The lowest rates of price increases for NWPT since the beginning of the year were recorded in Kokshetau (+14.4%) and Atyrau (+14.3%), reports inbusiness.kz . From May 24 to May 31, prices for NWT in Aktobe increased by 0.3%. The cost of socially significant food products increased the most in Uralsk during the week (+1.0%). Prices for a group of socially significant food products increased by 0.1% in Aktau and Atyrau. In supermarket chains, cabbage costs from 235, and in the markets up to 350 tenge/kg (according to the bureau, 219 tenge/kg), onions – from 274 tenge/kg (according to the bureau, 170 tenge/kg). Both cabbage and onions are products of the new crop (except for the Stabilization Fund). Potatoes in the city on the White Hill are sold at prices ranging from 230 to 390 tenge per kilo (172 tenge/kg according to the bureau).
After five weeks of price reduction, the price of white cabbage soared sharply, from 192 to 256/257 tenge per kilogram in large retail chains and from 280 to 350 tenge per kilogram in convenience stores.
Carrots in supermarket chains are sold at 245-250 tenge per kilogram (194 tenge / kg according to the bureau).
In convenience stores, cabbage from 350 tenge per kilogram, onions – from 250 tenge / kg, rice – 350 tenge per kilo, potatoes 250-270 tenge / kg, carrots – 250 tenge / kg.

Cabbage +41.3%.
Cucumbers in supermarkets cost about 420-520 tenge, tomatoes – 700-800 tenge, a bunch of lettuce – 200 tenge.
Fortunately, this week street tents are opening in the markets, where the price of vegetables is lower: cucumbers – 250 tenge, tomatoes – 400, lettuce – 150 tenge. Imported strawberries – 2 thousand tenge per kg. And even an ordinary chewing gum, which cost 150 tenge, is now sold for 200-220 tenge.
Weekly in the center of Uralsk, on the street. Ikhsanov, open shopping malls with their own products from the regions of the West Kazakhstan region. This week, two of them are held in the center – on Saturday and Sunday. Fairs, already traditional for the Urals, well feed the townspeople with vitamins that are more affordable than in convenience stores or in the markets on weekdays.
A number of fruits and vegetables fell significantly this week. Queues at the fair for cucumbers and tomatoes have become a little shorter. This week, local cucumbers grown in the village. Brand new, at 200 tenge per kilogram they traded at three points. The residents of the Urals were pleased with cheaper tomatoes for 550 tenge per kilogram instead of 650 tenge last week.
Potatoes at the fair were sold from 150 tenge per kilogram, and a new crop of this vegetable, imported from Russia, appeared at 350 tenge per kilogram.
