Gardeners of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be advised on pressing issues of organizing, maintaining and developing their activities

Starting from this year, a new support measure began to operate in the region – a grant to non-profit organizations expressing the interests of gardeners, gardeners and their associations. The competition in this direction was held the day before in the regional Ministry of Agriculture. The Regional Union of Horticulture and the Union of Horticulturalists of Zheleznogorsk became the winners. In total, they received 5 million rubles to provide gardeners of the region with information and consulting services on their activities.
Free classes in the amount of at least 350 hours will be held for chairmen of garden societies and municipal unions of gardeners, nurserymen, as well as ordinary summer residents of the region. Seminars, lectures, including online lectures, master classes will be conducted by teachers from the Krasnoyarsk Agrarian University, representatives of audit and cadastral organizations, power engineers, economists, lawyers, agronomists and environmentalists.
“This project is the first in Russia. Our gardeners have been looking forward to it. The training program is formed according to their requests. There are 1,620 horticultural and horticultural non-profit partnerships in 26 municipalities of the region, so the scale of the project is wide. We will closely monitor its implementation, we are waiting for feedback and expect a positive result,” said Alexander Pokhodin, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Trade of the region.
Classes will be held in three territorial zones of the region in order to cover a larger number of interested people. For gardeners in Krasnoyarsk, Divnogorsk, Emelyanovsky, Berezovsky and Mansky districts – in Krasnoyarsk, at 85 Mira Ave. (Regional Union of Horticulture). For gardeners in Achinsk, Nazarov, Sharypov, Achinsk and Nazarovsky districts – in the Achinsk branch of the Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University, for gardeners in Minusinsk, Shushensky and Minusinsk districts – in the Minusinsk Agricultural College.
The training will take place from the end of November 2022 to April 2023. The program includes issues of changing legislation, office work in partnerships, financial and tax reporting, land use, and energy supply. It is also planned a practical part on agricultural technology, including tillage, work with seed, caring for plants, etc. Classes will be held at the Minusinskoye pilot production farm.
