Farmers have begun harvesting early vegetable crops in the Tyumen region, journalists were told at the information center of the regional government.
“Agrarians of the Tyumen region began harvesting early vegetable crops. The first to start work was the KriMM agricultural company in the Uporovsky district. Here today, a total of lettuces have been harvested from an area of 3.2 hectares. The yield is 180 centners per hectare,” the report says.
At the same time selective harvesting of cabbage is going on in the fields of the enterprise. At present, the variety “Adema” gives 526 centners per hectare. Harvested – 3.2 ha. Fresh lettuce varieties “Romano”, “Iceberg”, “Batavia”, as well as cabbage varieties “Adem” from the fields are already coming to stores and shipped to regional customers.
In total, more than 1,000 hectares of open ground vegetables have been planted in the Tyumen region. Carrots, cabbage, beets, onions, and salads are grown in the fields.
In 2021, the first harvest began in the Tyumen region on July 21. Thus, the productivity of cabbage varieties Parel, Nakhalenok, Tiara, Farrao for farmers from farms LLC KH “Alexander” and KFH “Rassvet” was 386 centners per hectare.
