In 2023, opportunities to support young personnel are expanding in the Volgograd Region. Thus, students of higher professional education programs will be able to get another profession at the expense of the grant — “Tractor driver-machinist of agricultural production”.
Highly qualified personnel for the agro-industrial complex of the region are trained with state support
According to the Committee of Agriculture of the Volgograd region, almost 2.5 million rubles are provided for a new type of state support in 2023 — about 250 students of any universities will be able to get an additional specialty.
In addition, measures that have proven themselves well in previous years will remain in place — they cover both students and graduate specialists. For example, this year 30 young farmers received incentive payments — in total, about 2 million rubles were allocated for these purposes. Recall that graduates of secondary and higher educational institutions who, after completing their studies, came to work for an agricultural enterprise or a farm can count on such support. So, specialists with higher education after the first year of work receive a payment in the amount of 100 thousand rubles, after the second — 60 thousand rubles, after the third — 40 thousand rubles. In total, for three years the amount is 200 thousand rubles. A mid—level specialist receives 70 thousand rubles after the first year, 40 thousand rubles after the second, and 30 thousand rubles after the third. In total — 140 thousand rubles.
In addition, support within the framework of the program “Integrated Rural Development” allows encouraging enterprises and farms of the agricultural sector to attract students to their sites for their internship. In 2022, 11 agricultural producers were compensated for the costs of paying and living for 194 students — in total, payments amounted to 2.8 million rubles. It is planned to increase the amount of such a subsidy to 5.7 million rubles by 2025.
In addition, the form of the target direction also helps to attract personnel: about 198 students are currently studying at VolGAU on such grounds, 59 of them were recruited this year.
It should be noted that creating comfortable conditions in rural areas, attracting highly qualified personnel to the industry is one of the priority directions for the development of the agro—industrial complex of the region. Summing up the results of the agricultural year, the Governor of the Volgograd region Andrey Bocharov instructed to develop a set of measures of an interdepartmental and intersectoral nature to organize systematic work on the formation of the personnel potential of the industry, including thematic work of the school level, training of professional personnel, advanced training on the basis of state support.
It should be noted that the unique all—Russian project “Farmers’ School” also helps to improve the qualifications of current and novice entrepreneurs, to make their business more efficient. In the Volgograd region, the educational platform of the project is an agricultural university. This year, 30 students of the fifth stream were trained in the areas of “Vegetable growing” and “Development of agricultural cooperation”. The sixth educational project will start in the spring of 2023.
In total, 23 institutions of secondary vocational education and one higher educational institution — Volgograd State Agrarian University – train personnel for the agro-industrial complex of the Volgograd region in the region.
