Drip irrigation is taking place in more and more crops. HortiGreen Irrigation focuses on outdoor cultivation, has all possible hoses and equipment in stock and can deliver quickly through its dealers.
In addition, the company provides many custom projects. Thanks to the contribution of 30 years of irrigation technology from the parent company Broere Beregening, this is a service that the user can benefit from. The products HortiGreen Irrigation works with are all produced in the south of Europe. PVC materials largely come from Van der Lande from the Netherlands.
Realizations on a scale of tens of hectares are tailor-made for the company, but they also know how to handle the tailor-made projects of small-scale growers. HortiGreen has machines in house for both “surface” drip hoses or “subsurface”, with which up to 8 hectares can be laid per day. Even if this has to be 45cm underground, they work with adapted drainage machines that realize this with GPS.
HortiGreen works closely with Caudal/Metserplast and has multi-year agreements with them. This organization works worldwide and also has a balanced system for the reuse of drip irrigation hoses. This group of companies also works a lot with the Internet of Things – areas have become too large for proper cabling – so that the interplay of soil conditions, meteorological data and planned irrigation can be properly regulated.
