In Kazakhstani schools, children eat vegetables from their own gardens

Since the beginning of the summer holidays, about 180 children have already rested on the basis of rural schools in the Kasli district

900 students will spend part of their vacation time fun and usefully within the walls of educational institutions. Sports events, excursions, concert programs and competitions – there is no time for children to be bored.
Teachers have made every effort to ensure that the summer weekdays of schoolchildren are full of bright events and interesting things.

Once the Bagaryak school was famous for its rich educational and experimental site. Schoolchildren got acquainted with agronomic subtleties in practice, and at the same time they supplied the school canteen with vegetables and fruits.
According to the recollections of a resident of the village, Tatyana Obukhova, 10-15 years ago, Bagaryak students practically did not pay for school meals, because everything was their own, grown on the school plot. The children finished school, and in the certificate they had a plus in addition to school subjects, there was a “field grower” or “vegetable grower”, the boys also had the qualification “tractor driver”.
Now, of course, this is not the case. Firstly, the number of students at school has noticeably decreased, and secondly, the law on education prohibits it, unless labor practice is included in the school curriculum.

In Bagaryakskaya and some other rural schools, summer labor practice, as part of the school curriculum, has been preserved and this is a great opportunity to help the school. Boys and girls, under the guidance of biology and chemistry teacher Larisa Yuryevna Nazarova, skillfully grow seedlings, plant them in a permanent place, armed with garden tools, weed flower beds and vegetable beds, loosen the soil, water and harvest.

? “We are used to it,” says now sixth grader Zakhar Kadochnikov. – We also help at home, everyone has gardens: we weed, water the beds and go for a walk, to the sports ground. I have already gone to the Metallurg sanatorium, near Zlatoust, and I liked it. I will spend the rest of my summer holidays at home.

Onions, beets, carrots, cabbage, plums, apples, pears, currants, honeysuckle – everything that has grown on the school plot goes to the school cafeteria, turning into an additional vitamin table.

According to Larisa Yuryevna, surplus seedlings are sold to buy seeds for the next year and update gardening equipment.

This summer, at the Bagaryak school, a day camp called “Luck” cordially opened its doors. It is attended by 16 people. Every day, the students of the camp are happy to take part in all kinds of entertainment and educational programs, play, draw, walk.
Employees of the Leisure Center and the library help to organize the leisure of schoolchildren, teachers of a rural school.

Children also have fun and usefully spend time in the summer camp in the village of Shaburovo.

?-At our school, 40 children aged 7 to 14 attend the day camp. Of these, for 12 people stay in the camp is free, – says the director of the school, Elena Ninelivovna Eremina. – The camp has been working for several years, the teachers are all experienced with experience.

The Shaburovsky boys and girls have an interesting summer vacation full of events and impressions: outdoor games, hobby groups, excursions, trips.
All day in the fresh air, surrounded by peers, so everyone has a good appetite.
Shaburovsky schoolchildren also do useful things. During work practice, children from grades 4 to 10 clean up the school area. That is why a friendly team of student interns are welcome helpers in the school yard.

?To the topic:

This summer, it is planned to improve the health of about 1,200 children, of which 900 are in day camps organized on the basis of 16 educational institutions, as well as in the dispensary of JSC Vyshnegorsky GOK and the eparchial tent camp Naslednik in the village of Bulzi.

Country camps are traditionally popular with children and teenagers. So, this season in health camps: “Wave” (Kyshtym), “Eaglet” (Snezhinsk), Children’s Recreation Center “Arakul”, camp named after. G.I. Baymurzin (Kunashak) at least 300 schoolchildren of the Kasli district will have a rest and improve their health. At the same time, the children’s cashback program, which has been operating for the second year, contributes to the active development of recreation in the camps. In addition, various state support measures are provided: compensation and payment for food in day camps.

The region and the district will continue to pay attention to the development of children’s camps and create additional opportunities for children’s leisure during the holidays. It is important that the children spend the summer months with benefit and return to the educational process in the fall satisfied, happy and rested.
