  1. Is broccoli a fruit or vegetable or flower? This question can come to mind of almost every person because a broccoli looks like a flower, again many people think it is a fruit, but you can eat it as a vegetable. We use broccoli as a food in many ways. Broccoli is a nutritious food But we are not sure if it will be considered a flower, fruit or vegetable. To know whether broccoli is a flower, a fruit or a vegetable, we must first know about flowers, fruits and vegetables.Below we will analyze with broccoli.Is broccoli is a fruit?If we consider broccoli as a fruit, we should first compare broccoli as a fruit. Usually we think that A fruit will be sweet like mango, jackfruit, litchi, banana, grape, apple, guava, white etc. We can eat it without cooking when ripe. Although gourd, pumpkin, shrimp, patol etc. are eaten as vegetables, in fact they are all fruits. We consider him as the fruit which after fertilization, the uterus forms an organ which is nourished individually or with other parts of the flower. If you review, you will not see this process of fruit formation in broccoli. Another important feature of the fruit is that it contains seed but it has no seeds to.
    • Each fruit have a separate coating on top that is not present in broccoli.
    • Every fruit we can raw but broccoli we cannot eat raw.
    • Broccoli has no seeds at a young age but other fruits have seeds from the beginning.
    • Most fruits are sweet or sour to eat but taste of broccoli is different.
    • Almost every fruit is more delicious when ripe but we can’t expect it from broccoli.
    According to the characteristic, It is clear that broccoli is not fruit under any characteristic. Is broccoli is a flower?The genitals of flowering plants are called flowers. This is a modified form of bitup. We see many flowers like tulips, roses, acacias, hibiscus, Magnolia, Daisy. Most flowers have their own scent and beauty and all flowers are surrounded by petals But broccoli doesn’t have all this quality. A flower is a special seasonal organ of a plant that plays an important role in plant reproduction. If all the five stanzas of an ideal flower are present, it is called a complete flower. Five parts of the whole flower :
    •  Inflorescence
    • Calyx
    • Group / petals
    • Stamens
    • Cervix
    If a flower does not have one or two of these five parts, then the flowers are incomplete flowers. If we take a good look, we will see that broccoli is not complete flower.Is broccoli a vegetable?Vegetables are usually grouped according to the portion of the plant that is eaten such as leaves (lettuce), stem (celery), roots (carrot), tubers (potato), bulbs (onion) and flowers (broccoli). Moreover we can say, The part of the tree which we can eat by cooking that is vegetable. I can’t eat broccoli raw. We eat broccoli as a curry or salad. We cannot take it as a flower or a fruit although most of the features are similar with the flower. For this reason, we can say that broccoli is a vegetable flower.We have come to the conclusion that broccoli is a vegetable flower. This vegetable is a popular all over world. Nutritious food is a very important thing for a healthy and strong body. Proper nutrition increases immunity system.Now we will know the nutritional value of broccoli.Nutritional value of broccoli:Every day we eat some vegetables but we don’t know much about its value of nutrition. It is because of this ignorance that we often neglect many vegetables, such as broccoli which looks like a cauliflower. We eat the tip of the broccoli and its buds as vegetables by cooking. Broccoli is a nutritious vegetable that contains an antioxidant called Sulforaphane. Sulforaphane increases the levels of enzymes in the body. More benefits are highlighted below of broccoli.
    1. Vitamin C in broccoli is twice as much as lemon and seven times as much as potato. It is said that those who need vitamin C can eat broccoli every day even if it is small.
    2. The beta carotene and selenium compounds in broccoli and vitamin C help fight prostate, colon, lung, liver, breast and pancreatic cancers.
    3. This vegetable flower enhances immunity. Broccoli also prevent colds and coughs.
    4. Broccoli helps prevent active oxygen in the body and prevents premature puberty through detoxification.
    5. Vitamin C in broccoli makes the skin beautiful. It also prevents constipation as it contains dietary fiber.
    6. Broccoli is low in fat and calories but high in fiber. So there is no harm in eating more broccoli. Being high in iron eliminates the feeling of relaxation from broccoli during diet.
    7. This vegetable flower helps to control diabetes.
    8. Broccoli is rich in Sulforaphane, Which is mixed with blood to prevent cell damage.
    9. It reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke.

How can you eat Broccoli:

When buying broccoli, look for fresh, hard buds and dark green which is best for eating. You can also eat soft data if you want. Data also contains nutrients. Broccoli can be cooked as well as salad and fried with meat. So you can eat broccoli in different ways.

In conclusion, we can say that although broccoli is a flower, we use it as a vegetable.
