On August 19, one of the first harvest holidays is celebrated in Slavic culture – Apple Savior. By this date, Ryazanstat in its group published last year’s statistics on harvesting fruits and vegetables in the Ryazan region.
It is noted that in total 241 thousand tons of potatoes, 85 thousand tons of vegetables, 14.5 thousand tons of apples and pears, 5.7 thousand tons of plums and cherries, 8 thousand tons of berries were harvested in the region.
In addition, leaders were noted in the message. So, in 2021, the Mikhailovsky district was noted for the gross harvest of potatoes – 42 thousand tons, for the collection of vegetables – Rybnovsky – 24 thousand tons. In terms of fruit and berry picking, the Ryazan region took the lead – 6.2 thousand tons.
