Since the beginning of 2022, more than 16.8 thousand tons of plant products have been imported to the Krasnoyarsk Territory from abroad, which is 61.5% more than in the same period a year earlier. This was reported in the regional department of Rosselkhoznadzor.
The main part of this volume is vegetables and fruits. The region received 11.5 thousand tons of them. These are mainly white cabbage, grapes, tomatoes, apples, persimmons, carrots, Beijing cabbage, onions, radishes, lemons. They were brought from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Thailand, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.
In second place in terms of imports – 5 thousand tons – wheat and barley malt from Belarus.
Also, during the indicated period, 2.9 million flowers and seedlings were brought to the region, of which, in fact, 2.6 million were flowers. They were brought from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Thailand, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.
