The X International Apple-Book Festival “Antonov Apples” started in Kolomna on September 3. On the first day it was visited by more than 13 thousand people.
For the guests of the festival, 15 venues were set up in the historical center of the city, where musical and theatrical performances, master classes and art installations were prepared.
Conversations about memoirs, memoirs and diaries were held in the open Literary Studio. Children’s writer Anastasia Strokina told about a journey with ghosts in the Victorian era. The visitors also managed to talk with the author of the novel “The Garden” Maria Stepnova.
Lyudmila Zhumaeva’s living room was responsible for the musical part of the festival together with the Helikon Opera with the program “I remember the waltz sound charming” (musical theater “Ge”), Imperialis Orchestra and saxophonist Konstantin Safyanov and others.
The festival guests were shown performances of the Moscow Regional State Academic Ballet Theater “Russian Ballet”, the Mytishchi Drama and Comedy Theater “FEST” and the Melikhovsky Theater “Chekhov Studio”.
New products from more than 30 publishers, including children’s ones, were presented at the book market. Visitors were invited to a traditional city lunch in the courtyard of the Artkommunalka Museum.
At the end of the first day of the festival, a plane from the Aerograd club flew over the Moscow River.
The organizers of the “Antonovsky Apples” were the Ministry of Culture of the Moscow region, the Russian Cultural Foundation, the Center for Educational Tourism “Kolomenskiy Posad”, the GAUC MO “Center for Cultural Initiatives”.
On the second day, the festival program was continued at the Dostoevsky museum-estate “Darovoe”.
