Since the beginning of 2021, more than 90 thousand tons of vegetable crops have been harvested in greenhouse agricultural organizations of the Moscow Region. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the region, Sergei Voskresensky.
“To date, the gross harvest of greenhouse vegetables in the farms of the Moscow Region is 91.5 thousand tons. In greenhouses harvested more than 8.2 thousand tons more than the same date last year. Ogurtsov produced more than 58.2 thousand tons, tomatoes – 32.4 thousand tons, other vegetable crops – about 1 thousand tons, ”said Sergei Voskresensky.
The leaders in the production of protected ground vegetables are: “Agrokultura Group” from the urban district of Kashira, “Lukhovitsky vegetables” and “Ivanisovo” from Elektrostal, the greenhouses of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky enterprise “Agrarnoe”, Odintsovsky “Agronom” and “Matveevskoye”.
Earlier, Sergei Voskresensky reported that in the rating of Russian regions in terms of gross harvest of vegetables in winter greenhouses, the Moscow region has confidently taken the 2nd place since the beginning of this year.
