More than a thousand tons of cherries were harvested in Crimea
Now the harvesting campaign is taking place in five districts of the peninsula: Bakhchisarai, Krasnogvardeisky, Nizhnegorsky, Simferopol and Saksky. Farmers harvested more than 1.1 thousand tons of sweet cherries. More than half of the area has already been cleared.

In addition, cherry picking began in the region. As journalists were told in the press service of the republican government, 32 tons have already been collected. Since the beginning of this year, 1,707 tons of fruit and berry products have been harvested in Crimea from 400 hectares.

Also, agricultural producers began harvesting blackberries, raspberries, peaches and apricots.
