Planting carrots and beets in the Trans-Baikal farms is ahead of schedule. 40% of the area from the plan has already been sown.
According to experts from the regional Ministry of Agriculture, farmers will start planting cabbage next week. In total, open ground vegetables will occupy an area of 114 hectares on farms. It should be noted that Trans-Baikal agricultural enterprises supplied vegetables to consumers in the winter, and since the beginning of the year, about 100 tons of cucumbers have been grown in greenhouse complexes.
