Trans-Baikal farmers have already planted 40 percent of the planned amount of carrots and beets – twice as much as in the same period of 2021, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the region told AiF-Transbaikalia.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, agricultural producers have planted 300 hectares of potatoes – twice as many as in May last year, as well as 20 hectares of greenhouse vegetables. And they have already been able to produce 100 tons of cucumbers.
