Specialists of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Rosselhozcenter” in the Krasnoyarsk Territory conducted an assessment of the state of batches of onions intended for sowing in 2023 for indicators of sowing qualities.
For analysis, the IL branch received 5 batches of onion-sowing varieties Sturon, Stuttgart Riesen, Radar, Hercules, Golden Semko. The country of origin of these varieties is the Netherlands. The assessment was carried out on such indicators as cleanliness, pest infestation, the presence of damaged seeds.
As a result of the tests carried out by the specialists of the branch, the conclusion was made that the quality of the planting material of the onion sowing of all the studied batches meets the requirements of GOST 30088-93 for the second group in the autumn-winter period.
The Krasnoyarsk branch of the Rosselhozcenter reminds that sowing healthy and high-quality seed material is the key to obtaining a high yield.
