Enhancing Efficiency and Reach for Agricultural Produce Distribution
X5 Group announces the inauguration of a new distribution center in the Samara region, marking a significant milestone in their expansion efforts.
The newly opened distribution center spans an impressive 73,000 square meters, establishing itself as one of the largest facilities for X5 Group’s retail brand, Pyaterochka.
Currently, the Samara distribution center serves approximately 820 Pyaterochka stores in the Samara and Ulyanovsk regions, as well as facilitating transit for an additional 600 stores across Saratov, Penza, Orenburg, and Bashkortostan through other distribution centers.
Employing a workforce of 550 individuals, the distribution center contributes to the creation of over 6,500 jobs in the region, underscoring Pyaterochka’s commitment to local economic development and employment generation.
The establishment of this distribution center is poised to enhance supply chain efficiency, ensuring timely and reliable distribution of agricultural produce to Pyaterochka stores across multiple regions. By expanding their infrastructure and operational capacity, X5 Group strengthens its position in the market while reaffirming its commitment to meeting the evolving needs of customers and stakeholders.
