In continuation of efforts to modernize farm equipment, Zabaykalsky Krai authorities have announced subsidies to compensate up to 30% of the costs of agricultural machinery and equipment purchased in 2023. With a budget allocation of 200 million rubles, and an additional 100 million rubles expected, this program aims to support farmers over the next three years. Last year alone, agricultural producers in the region invested nearly 1 billion rubles in new machinery, adding 323 units to their fleet, including 22 combines and 54 tractors of various makes and models.
President Vladimir Putin emphasizes the government’s commitment to enhancing the efficiency of support measures for the agricultural sector. Addressing the need for equipment, fertilizers, and lubricants, the focus remains on empowering enterprises and farmers for sustainable growth.
The provision of subsidies for farm equipment renewal in Zabaykalsky Krai reflects a strategic investment in the region’s agricultural future. By modernizing machinery and enhancing support mechanisms, authorities aim to bolster productivity and sustainability in the sector, aligning with broader national objectives outlined by President Putin.
