At the zenith of summer, the farmers of Zherdevsky, Petrovsky and Tokarevsky districts started harvesting peas. This year, more than 46 thousand hectares have been sown with crops, which is 14% more than in 2021. To date, 548 hectares have been harvested, with an average yield of about 30 q/ha.

In addition, peas, as green manure, restore soil fertility and ensure high productivity of the grain link of the crop rotation.
Since there are currently no export restrictions on peas, this area of crop production is promising for export. Last year, less than 1% was exported. And in 2022, the export of peas from the region amounted to 7.5% of the total volume of agricultural exports.
