As the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Consumer Market of the republic informed Comionline, this year it is planned to carry out crops on an area of about 28 thousand hectares of agricultural land.
The ministry also clarified that potatoes are planned to be planted on an area of 0.5 thousand hectares, open–ground vegetables – 0.038 thousand hectares, mowing of fodder crops – 31.9 thousand hectares.
Recall that in 2022, the area of sowing in Komi was supposed to be almost 11 thousand hectares. The potato harvest last year was one and a half times higher than planned.
