In the Stavropol Territory, in 2023, the amount of state support for the development of vegetable growing will be doubled. Priority areas will be vegetable growing, land reclamation and dairy cattle breeding. This was announced on Wednesday, November 30, by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory.
“We managed to preserve all the key areas of state support for the agricultural sector. At the same time, we will reorient the emphasis on the development of vegetable growing, funds for support have been pledged twice as much as in 2022. On behalf of the governor Vladimir Vladimirova, there will be state support for the purchase of breeding young cattle of the dairy direction. Also, on the terms of co—financing with the federal budget, we will continue the set course to increase the area of reclaimed land,” said Sergey Izmalkov, Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory.
It is noted that 5.2 billion rubles are planned to be allocated from two levels of the budget for the development of the agro-industrial complex of Stavropol in 2023. In addition, the system of support for small businesses and the development of agricultural cooperation will remain an important area.
Earlier, the Governor of Stavropol, Vladimir Vladimirov, said that the budget of the region for 2023-2025 adopted in the Stavropol Duma is an instrument of social and economic development.
