More than 13.5 thousand tons of potatoes and vegetables were harvested by agricultural producers in Primorsky Krai. Peasants also harvest early grain crops.
According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, 317 hectares of potatoes and 394 hectares of vegetables have been harvested to date.
“6.5 thousand tons of potatoes were harvested from the fields, 7.2 thousand tons of vegetables. The yield is 206 and 183 centners per hectare, respectively, which is 5% higher than last year,” the ministry said.
Farmers also continue to harvest early crops. 60 thousand tons of grain have been harvested from 29 thousand hectares.
Recall that the increase in the volume of domestic production is the main task of the region’s food security in the face of sanctions.
