Sevastopol agricultural enterprises began to harvest apples. Natalya Matveyeva, Head of the Department of Sectoral Development of Agriculture of the Department of Agriculture and the Consumer Market, went on a working trip to the gardens of Dobrobut-Invest Plus.
During its operation, the enterprise received state support in the amount of 13 million rubles. The funds are directed to laying gardens and caring for perennial plantings. The support also made it possible to increase the area of fruit-bearing orchards and berry crops. To date, the company has harvested more than 6 tons of apples, in total it is planned to harvest 80 tons.
“The creation of new agricultural enterprises, as well as the support of existing ones, is necessary both for the development of the rural areas of the region and for providing residents and guests of Sevastopol with fruit and berry products of their own production, especially since the weather conditions in the region are perfect,” emphasized Natalya Matveeva Natalya.
In total, three enterprises are engaged in the collection of apples in Sevastopol: Dobrobut-Invest Plus, Kachinsky + and Artvin. Dobrobut-Invest Plus is the first to start harvesting apples, as early varieties of apples, Red Free, grow in the orchards of the organization.
In 2022, it is planned to harvest 475 tons of apples at the agricultural enterprises of the city.
Recall that in addition to compensating the costs of planting and caring for perennial plantations, agricultural producers in the region can receive subsidies for laying and caring for perennial fruit plantations (pomaceous, stone fruit and nut crops).
