Russian retail chains are ready to accept fruits and vegetables from private farmers for sale.
This was told by lawyer Yegor Redin, according to news agency DEITA.RU with reference to Prime.
According to him, the country’s government intends to increase the volume of cooperation between supermarkets and Russians who grow their own products in their gardens, up to 20% of the total number of fruits and vegetables sold on the shelves of stores.
As the lawyer noted, those citizens who are ready to go through a number of legal procedures and correctly draw up all documents can take advantage of this opportunity. Today, as the expert noted, not all farmers can afford it.
A way out of this situation can be found in providing an opportunity for farmers who are self-employed to draw up the technical documentation necessary for the subsequent sale of their goods in supermarkets.
It is expected that with the help of the products of private farmers it will be possible to compensate for the possible shortage of vegetables and fruits due to the sanctions imposed on Russia.
