The imminent inauguration of the Agricultural Development Office, promised prior to elections and slated to commence operations in mid-February, aims to offer consultancy services to farmers.

Yassıköy Mayor Caner İmam announced that the Agriculture Office would be managed by two agricultural engineers within the Yassıköy Municipality. Additionally, an additional agricultural engineer will be available during the days of the local market, offering assistance to farmers in the Susurköy and Yassıköy regions to address their challenges and provide information on topics of interest. With the opening of the agriculture office, the goal is to provide farmers with detailed information and support on issues such as agricultural declarations and field leasing.
In reference to this new initiative, Caner İmam stated, “We want to assist our municipal members, stand by them, and collaborate effectively with everyone.” He emphasized that the authority and responsibilities of the new office would be determined by the Municipal Council.
