In the peasant farm of Zulkipli Ramazanova in the Astrakhan region, they are not afraid of experiments, so 17 hectares of land were allotted for 40 varieties of tomatoes. If you don’t give potassium, there will be no taste. The stems are thick, the taste is excellent. In Zulkipli Ramazanov’s farm, early production breaks all records this year. Fertilizers, of course, played a role, but everything is within the normal range. “We are trying to minimize ammonium nitrate, we mainly use potassium, calcium and biological preparations for treatment, for prevention,” said Zulkipli Ramazanov, head of the Ramazanov farm. Peppers, tomatoes, corn, onions are all imported varieties. Ramazanov managed to buy seed material before the sanctions lawlessness. But the new prices for pest control this year – even cry. “It cost 6500, this year it costs 23500. If last year we sold products to wholesalers for 15 rubles, this year we need to deliver at least 25 rubles. If we do not do this, we will suffer a loss,” Zulkipli Ramazanov explains. The collection is about to start. “I can’t even count, there are about 15-20 peppers on one bush. It is even impossible to count, each bush is stuffed with pepper. And this is only the first harvest,” said Zulkipli Ramazanov. – Here, 17 hectares are allocated for 40 experimental varieties of tomatoes: red, pink, yellow, cherry tomatoes. Which varieties will perform better will be planted on an industrial scale next year. What kind of varieties these are, the autumn collection will show. “It can be seen that some varieties no longer withstand. Apparently, they can’t stand the moisture or the sun, we find many reasons,” Zulkipli Ramazanov stressed. Ramazanov gives priority in the sale of early vegetables to the Astrakhan market. Its products can be found, for example, at Mayak. Including onions. This year the entrepreneur planted sevok. “It surprised me very much that the yield is very good, and the sets are growing very well. I am already planning to grow early onions on an industrial scale next year,” says Zulkipli Ramazanov.
