Vegetables and fruits will be distributed among the villages of the Chukotka region – Lorino and Lavrentiya. “Products will be divided among the villages according to need. Sometimes half, sometimes less. In the coming days, freshness will be sent to Lorino by land transport, and in Lavrentiya they are already on sale today,” said Alena Vladimirova, commodity manager at Beringov Proliv LLC. According to the administration of the Chukotsky region, the products will be sold at a reduced subsidized price, which allows keeping the cost at the level of previous deliveries. For this, Bering Strait LLC is receiving state support. Since the beginning of 2022, the company has delivered about 50 tons of products to the villages of the Chukotka region. Recall that in order to provide food products with a short shelf life to residents of the Chukotsky District and Providensky Urban District, by decision of Governor Roman Kopin, financial support is provided for municipalities to subsidize the air delivery of perishable products. – When reprinting information from the site prochukotku.ru, a link to the original source is required.
