In Kabardino-Balkaria, according to preliminary data, for 11 months of 2022, 350 million conditional cans of various canned fruits and vegetables were produced. The increase in production compared to the same period last year amounted to 10%.
Most of all, tomato paste was produced in the republic – 143 million conditional cans, in second place is canned green peas, of which 62.2 million conditional cans were produced.
On the third line in terms of production canned cucumbers with an indicator of 60.3 million conventional cans.
The fourth position is occupied by canned sugar corn, its production amounted to 44 million standard cans.
26.4 million standard cans of canned tomatoes and in their own juice left the conveyors of enterprises. This type of canned food is in fifth place in terms of production.
According to the listed positions, there is an increase in production relative to 11 months of last year.
In addition, enterprises of the canning industry of the republic produced insignificant volumes of other types of canned food – fruit and vegetable juices and nectars, assorted vegetables, pickled cucumbers and tomatoes, pickled and sauerkraut – more than 14 million conditional cans in total.
