Marking two decades since the launch of its flagship vegetable juice, ‘Haru Yasai,’ HY introduces three new variants—Original, Purple, and Yellow—with 25% reduced sugar content, aiming to meet the growing consumer demand for healthier beverage options.
HY’s ‘Haru Yasai’ Celebrates 20 Years with Three New Low-Sugar Vegetable Juice Blends
In 2005, HY introduced ‘Haru Yasai,’ a refrigerated vegetable juice that quickly became a staple for health-conscious consumers in South Korea. To commemorate its 20th anniversary, HY has unveiled three new products: ‘Haru Yasai Original,’ ‘Haru Yasai Purple,’ and ‘Haru Yasai Yellow.’ These new offerings feature a 25% reduction in sugar content compared to the top three selling vegetable juices in the market. This reduction was achieved by decreasing the use of high-sugar vegetables and incorporating organic alternative sweeteners, aligning with current health trends emphasizing lower sugar intake.
Specifically, ‘Haru Yasai Original’ contains 5 grams of sugar per 100ml, while both ‘Haru Yasai Purple’ and ‘Haru Yasai Yellow’ have 6.5 grams of sugar per 100ml. All three variants are made using organic vegetable ingredients, ensuring a natural and wholesome beverage option for consumers.
To promote the revitalized ‘Haru Yasai’ brand, HY is organizing an offline event—a marathon scheduled for June 7 at the Misari Rowing Stadium. The event will feature various pre-activities and product sampling for participants, with registrations opening in mid-April on a first-come, first-served basis.
HY’s introduction of these reduced-sugar vegetable juices reflects a strategic response to the increasing consumer demand for healthier beverage options. By maintaining the nutritional benefits of vegetable juices while lowering sugar content and utilizing organic ingredients, HY continues to position itself as a forward-thinking leader in the health beverage industry.
