More than 5478 thousand conditional cans of canned fruits and vegetables were produced in the Republic in January-October 2022.
The growth rate compared to the same period last year was 170%. In 2021, production volumes amounted to 3230.8 thousand conditional cans.
“Currently, there are three enterprises for the production of canned fruits and vegetables. The range of manufactured products is expanding every year,” said Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ibrahim Rubaev.
The enterprises of Agrofirma Kazbek LLC, KARAGRO LLC and Chiko LLC have established production and expanded the range of products: canned cucumbers and tomatoes, adjika, pickled wild garlic, pepper leaves, lecho, pickled hot peppers, pumpkin puree, apple puree and jam .
