For the second day in a row, the head of the Belarusian state pays attention to problems in agriculture and visits the regions.
Alexander Lukashenko assessed the prospects for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Vitebsk region and set a number of tasks for the officials, for which he later promised to “ask”.
The head of state visited the advanced and demonstrative farm in the Orsha region – the Yubileiny agricultural complex. Here, in his opinion, one should come just to look and “relax”.
The issues of fodder procurement, import substitution (in particular, polymer film, the task is to produce in our country, the technology should not be expensive) were discussed.
“I need a result. There must be order here. We need discipline. If there is discipline, there will be no problems,” the President addressed the Minister of Agriculture Igor Brylo, who promised to take the Vitebsk region on bail, the press service of the head of state reports.
Lukashenka sees the development of such farms in consolidation – it is necessary to unite and attach other collective farms. Therefore, he persuaded the head of Yubileiny to take on another farm: “We will not let the Orsha district sleep in peace.”
“Hunger in the world. We can sell products. And our calves are dying. You will answer for the loss of livestock with your head,” he warned Minister of Agriculture Brylo.
Personnel in the countryside
The president also drew attention to the issue of training personnel for the agro-industrial complex, noting that it is necessary to raise our workers on the basis of such large farms as Yubileinoye, and then create conditions to secure them in the countryside.
“If there are normal living conditions, first of all, there will be jobs, people will come here… And people will choose for themselves. They have already poured into the city, but it’s not so easy with work there, and some outflow has already begun,” Lukashenka added.
In his opinion, there will be no overabundance of personnel in the countryside – only those who have to work will remain. And if Belarus had not kept the collective farms and state farms in its time, the outflow of people from the villages would have been even greater. And it was not in vain that agro-towns were created at one time – in order to secure people in the region. But all this is nothing if working conditions are not improved – good equipment, complexes.
“This is not a fast process, not one farm, but thousands of them. But over the five-year period, the country will be different in agriculture too, if we take advantage of this moment when food prices have risen (all over the world – Sputnik),” Lukashenka said.

Golden age for agriculture
According to Alexander Lukashenko, a golden time has come for the agro-industrial complex now, it is necessary to seize the moment and earn “blood from the nose” on this: after all, food prices in the world have jumped “incredibly”.
“Of course, this puts pressure on us too. If prices in Russia are high, then it’s impossible to keep prices low here, everything will be taken out. But at the moment, Russians are coming here, you don’t have to take it anywhere. take. A golden age has come for agriculture,” the Security Council of Belarus Today quotes the words of the president.
The President is confident that this and next year will be “ours”.
“Therefore, no matter how difficult it is, you must take your money in these years. In order to improve your financial situation, pay off loans somewhere and continue to work calmly,” the Belarusian leader said.
Recall that the day before, Lukashenka visited his small homeland, where he not only attended to agricultural gaps, but also dined in Alexandria in the company of his subordinates and a faithful friend, the dog Umka.
