Among the factors that influenced the growth of yields in the Moscow region, it is possible to note state support measures, in particular, preliminary advance payments, said Vladislav Murashov, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow region.
“Traditionally, we paid about 1.5 million rubles to our farmers before the start of spring field work. This year we have paid 3 million rubles at once, we have done this for the first time since the subsidies were paid,” the minister said at an operational meeting of the Governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov with the leadership of the regional government and the heads of city districts.
Also, all fertilizers and plant protection products were purchased in the region on time. The yield was also affected by the amount of land provided.
Earlier, the governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov noted that agriculture in the region is given special attention.
He stressed that transparency is important when allocating plots to farmers under the “10 hectares near Moscow” program. In addition, it is important to attract experienced farmers to the region.
